Activities

Knockbain Farm has several well-maintained footpaths which connect with the Ross-shire footpath network, giving opportunities for both short and long distance walking or cycling.

We have an extensive knowledge of the Scottish Highlands and can offer useful advice on itinerary planning and places of interest.  There is a collection of guide books and maps, including a complete set of 1"/mile O.S. maps of Scotland.

There are good golf courses nearby and cycles for hire in Dingwall and Strathpeffer.  The Cromarty and Moray Firths are famous for dolphin watching and fishing is available in nearby lochs and rivers.
